Chad's Climate

In the north part of Chad it is hot and dry because of the Sahara dessert.  But in the central part of Chad it is a steppe, a steppe is an area of land that is mostly grassland and a few trees.  This is also where some of the animals like eagles, snakes, and more. Then in the south it is a savanna, a savanna is a open grassland that is high so that animals can hide in it, also it has more trees than a steppe and it is a tropical wet and dry.  Animals like the lion, giraffe, and more live here; an example of a savanna is in the movie Lion King where Simba and his father lived.  Before Simba when to live with Timon and Pumba, also in the beginning of the movie they showed a savanna.
